Task Followers - Adding task followers as a role not a contact

When adding a task, I am assigning the task to specific roles, and we do require to add "followers" for each task, however, our followers in this instance are the particular "roles" as well, which TidyHQ does not give an option to have a "role" as a follower, the ideal outcome would be that we can see "My Tasks" and "My following".
What I have had to do in the short term is create a new contact for each role, and use the contact as the follower, which is fine at first you get the email to say you are following but there is nowhere that you can go to after this to see which tasks you need to follow unless you stroll through endless emails.... any solutions??

I'm not sure whether I should comment here or start a new thread.
It would also be good if a group could be added to a task as followers instead of having to add each member of a group individually.
For example, we have a team who work on our community radio show and a task is created for each week's show. The presenter for that week is assigned the task (we take turns) and each person in the radio team is added as a follower. These people are already in a contact group for group messages and emails regarding the radio show. We prefer using the task facility as it's cleaner, easier to follow and less confusing and repetitive than long email trails.
Apart from being less of a hassle than adding each member individually, adding a group would mean that there's less chance of someone accidentally being left out.

Great point Rick - must admit I had totally missed this. We are wanting to do quite a few improvements to Tasks early next year so will try and get this bundled in with the enhancements.
