Calculated Custom Fields

We required the ability to create custom calculated fields on a contact.
Our sport uses the contact's age, gender and shooting style to determine the archer's Shooting Division Code.
We require the ability to create a field to calculate a person's age, and then combine it as described above.
The new combined code is critical to ensure archers shoot in the correct division at a tournament.
* Age would be calculated from DOB and today's date (requires an auto or frequency refresh option)
* Gender is a dropdown list.
* Shooting Style is also a dropdown list.
Must have the ability to specify the data type and length of the new field.

Unfortunately in our case, each archer at the time of a tournament entry has a specific shooting code ABCD. Only the 'A' represents the age component of the code. So a filter doesn't work.
