Is there an option available, I have outstanding invoice's that we have chased up and know that the recipients are not going to pay, as they have left town, so they will be bad debt, other than delete the invoice, (which is not correct accounting practice)

+1 for this. We have a few invoices - some years old where we know there's no chance of recovery.

Like this idea... and definitely agree with Liz that creating additional membership levels on an ad-hoc basis to deal with these specific instances makes for a very messy collection and becomes more cumbersome to navigate than it should be.

Or the ability to alter the amount of a membership would be ideal too. This is where I have the problem as in above but also need this option for casual members that don't play every week. Yes you can create a membership for this but I am finding I have a whole lot of admin memberships as have multiple age groups and amounts.
If it is a membership you can delete any payments, cancel the membership, create a new membership (admin only), for the amount that has been paid and reallocate the payment.
Cumbersome, incorrect accounting, inability to keep a record of members that haven't paid and require a transfer. A fix would be great.
